Is there an after-hours surcharge?
No. Repair rates are the same at 2am as at 2pm. Sundays, holidays, the night before Christmas — same prices, same written-quote process, same warranty. Other companies charge 1.5× or 2× after-hours; we don’t. The math is simple: emergencies are when you actually need us, so charging more would be backwards.
How fast can you get to my Savannah house in an emergency?
Daytime in Coastal GA: typically 60–90 minutes from call to driveway. Overnight (10pm–6am): typically 45–75 minutes — less traffic, the on-call tech is already routed. Storm-event surges (tornado warning aftermath, etc.) push to 2–4 hours because demand spikes city-wide. We’ll always tell you the honest ETA when you call.
Will you come on holidays?
Yes. Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, July 4th, New Year’s — every holiday, Mo Better has an on-call tech. Same rates as a regular weekday. The tech we send on Christmas morning is paid double by us, so we eat the differential — you don’t.
Do you handle commercial after-hours emergencies?
Yes. Warehouses, retail, loading docks, automotive bays, self-storage. We have commercial-rated emergency dispatch with separate billing accounts for businesses — net-30 invoicing if you’re a contracted client, credit card on-site if not. After-hours commercial calls are the same response window as residential.
Is the emergency repair warrantied the same as a daytime call?
Yes. Identical warranty — lifetime on matched-pair springs and 20,000-cycle hardware, 5-year on cables / rollers / drums, lifetime motor on LiftMaster openers, 1-year on labor. If a Mo Better-installed part fails inside its warranty, we replace it — parts and labor on us, 24/7.
